Neliel finished releasing her zanpakutō’s true form, a white centaur which overwhelms Nnoitra. Meanwhile, Pesche and Dondochakka began to fight Szayel, and use cero sincrético, a combination attack fusing their cero blasts, to attack Szayel but it was nullified by the Espada. Neliel attempted to finish off Nnoitra until she returned to her child form.

Zommari managed to survive Byakuya’s attack but the Shinigami used his kidō to block Zommari’s abilities and finished him instantly. On the other side, Mayuri’s internal organs were damaged by Szayel’s voodoo doll ability but later he revealed that those organs had been replaced with dummies even before they arrived at the incident. He was able to learn about the Espada’s abilities through a kind of bacteria he implanted on Ishida during their last battle in Soul Society.

Meanwhile, Nel’s transformation was sensed by both Dondochakka and Pesche.

Bleach Anime Episode 208: Aizen and the Genius BoyUrahara took Hiyori to the Maggots Nest, explaining on the way that its purpose was to hold people deemed potentially dangerous by the Soul Society. Because it was underground and heavily guarded, the prisoners were free to walk around, doing as they please. While they were walking through the penitentiary, a large prisoner attacked Hiyori who accidentally left her zanpakuto back at their division headquarters. Urahara easily subdued the man with his bare hand, stating that using one’s hands is the only way to thwart an attack in the prison. Deep inside, a younger Mayuri Kurotsuchi; confined to his own cell, was approached by Kisuke in regards to being his second in command in a new division of their own making, the Technological Research Bureau. Mayuri was reluctant but eventually agreed. Elsewhere, a young Byakuya Kuchiki was shown to have been easily irritated at that age, proven when Yoruichi demonstrates her flash step technique, stealing his hairpiece before escaping, taunting him in the process. Kaien Shiba was also offered the position of lieutenant under Jushirou Ukitake, but he stubbornly refused. Ukitake tells Kaien of a boy who was even younger than Byakuya, who was to be promoted to a seat position in his squad. The boy, who easily slayed the 3rd seat of the fifth division, was revealed to be a young Gin Ichimaru, under the watchful and impressed eye of Aizen. The pendulum swang forward 9 years, revealing a glimpse of horrible events yet to come.

Captain Kyoraku is out late when he happened upon Nanao Ise, his future lieutenant, who wondered if Lisa will be all right. Kyoraku reassured her that she’ll be fine, but she was actually getting beaten by the rampaging Kensei, whose terrifying new abilities overpower most of the group. Hacchi finally manageed to bind him with an extremely powerful spell.
